Drunken Cinema, Vol. 3: Evil Dead 2

June 25, 2014

Two men enter. Two men leave. Several bottles of booze are left in their wake.

Drunken Cinema is back with a vengeance. This time around we're watching the 1987 classic from Sam Raimi and starring the incomparable Bruce Campbell, Evil Dead 2. If you're thinking to yourself that you missed part 1, don't fret. We didn't do it. If you're asking why not, just... deal with it. Okay? Could you just... okay?

Much whiskey and rum was imbibed and much bullshitting was done, as has become the norm. This episode includes sing-alongs and other fun stuff, too. Okay... full disclosure... I don't really remember what else happened. We got a little silly this time. And here's the kicker; this was part of a double header (prepare for part 2 at some point in the future).

So watch along with us and listen to our incoherent babbling. I'm going to go have a listen too just to see how much of an ass I made out of myself.

Drunken Cinema, Vol. 2: Trick ‘r Treat

May 16, 2014

Uh oh, Drunken Cinema is back. In case you missed it the first time around, the premise is pretty self-explanatory; we get totally munted and record a DVD commentary track for you to listen to as you watch your favorite flicks.

This time around, the flick in question is Trick 'r Treat. If you're thinking "hey, you already reviewed that in your Halloween special last year!" then allow me to say "shut up, stupid!" There are no reviews here, just the audio track.

So watch, listen, and drink along with us. It should be a good time. And if it's not, you probably won't remember it in the morning anyways. Cheers.

Drunken Cinema, Vol 1: Shaun of the Dead

March 28, 2014

We are starting a brand new segment here on The Grave Plot. It's called Drunken Cinema and it's exactly what it sounds like. We get toasted like marshmallows and record a DVD commentary. No recaps, no reviews, just slurred little nuggets about the movie. This will be a recurring but not regular event. More of a "bonus feature."

Volume 1 is Shaun of the Dead. So pop the disc in the player, grab your drink, and watch along with us. We hope you enjoy it. Cheers.
